Who we are

A little wine can go a long way, so they say. Sitting by the Barwon River four friends chewed the fat over a few glasses of wine and decided the time was right to open a wine store in Barwon Heads. By Christmas 2014, Barwon Heads Winestore opened, stocked with the best range of wine, beers, cider and spirits on the Bellarine Peninsula.

Wines

Our shelves are stocked with delicious drops from around the world and our own local region. We’re pretty proud of our ever changing collection of wines made with love and talent by passionate wine makers. In answer to your question - Yes, we’ve tried them all so please ask us for a recommendation!

Beers

Our beer selection covers many bases – from local pale ales to dark and fragrant Porters and Stouts. We stock some well known names and new local favourites all available to mix into the perfect six pack.

Spirits

If it’s Gin you’re after, we can help! We love the stuff and support some of Australia’s finest small batch distillers including Four Pillars, Archie Rose and The Melbourne Gin Company and British gins including D1 and The Botanist. Keep an eye out for new labels, we can’t help ourselves. Sitting alongside our gin collection, you’ll find single malt whiskey, vodka and other life necessities.

Cider

We are great cider fans and you’ll find plenty of variations on a theme in our fridge. From the local tipple – Flying Brick to full flavoured Tassie ciders, our range is always changing.
